What a very happy scene in a marquee looking over the beach at Boobies Bay!- The flowers were very simple-White and Blue Hydrangea plants wrapped in paper and pots of mixed Hydrangea and local Agapanthus...Sylvie the bride did an amazing job with the rest of the decor-check out the knitted bunting!

Sometimes you just can't beat candlelight and white. This wedding last week at the Tresanton had a really beautiful romantic feel. The Eucharis flowers that look like giant snowdrops added a sweet simplicity to the sophistication....

Totally in love with silvers and greys this week. I used Brunia and Cineraria and Succulents...I love the kind of sophisticated but gardeny feel....Is grey the new green?!

WOWZERS!-these Coral Peonies could not have been more perfect! These pretty colours -peaches and corals with blues and creams are becoming more and more popular...Lilly Allen had these shades in her bouquet...they remind me of Laura Ashley in its heyday!...

What a super busy May! Here are some seaside weddings I've been doing.....

I really really love using plants in arrangments.Its so cool that they can be kept after the wedding and planted to enjoy forever as a living memory of the day. In this wedding a couple of weeks ago the Succulent plants looked so good with blues,lilacs and purples....

Check out this rather jolly sight that greeted me in Padstow when I went to do Steins flowers on Wednesday! The streets were festooned with flags and these wonderful paper flower hoolahoops...to decorate the town for May Day.Certainly put a spring in my step!

A beautiful wedding at Boconnoc House...always a wonderful venue to decorate.My favourite part?-We used Willow Trellis which we wove with flowers and hung on the wall...Living wallpaper-love it!

Well this was fun! For Vicky and Pietros wedding at The Scarlet Hotel we held a terranium planting party the day before. It was a great chance for the guests to catch up before the wedding and be part of the event.The terraniums were used to decorate the ceremony and were taken home by their happy creators!

A very vibrant wedding bouquet and bridesmaids posies. These have my favourite ingredient of all time -panicum grasses- which always loosen up the edges of  bouquets and give them a really light and airy feel.

What a Yummy spring wedding at The Rosevine. The bride collected some beautiful vases which i filled with this very tasty mix of bright pink Sweet Peas-the frist of the season, Viburnum opulus (the lovely fresh green) and white Ranunculus. Simple yet very delicious!
